The 'Spy Kids' actor proposed to the 'Like I'm Gonna Lose You' songstress 'under a tunnel of beautiful Christmas lights,' a day before her 24th birthday.

AceShowbiz - Meghan Trainor has another thing to celebrate this Christmas. The "All About That Bass" hitmaker has just got engaged to her actor boyfriend Daryl Sabara after he proposed to her in front of her family and friends on Thursday, December 21, a day before her 24th birthday.
Meghan took to Instagram to announce the news and share a video of the romantic moment set to her song "Hopeless Romantic". In the video, Daryl was seen getting down on his knee and asking her hand for marriage. After she said yes, he put the ring on her finger and the couple shared hugs with their friends and family.
"I SAID YESSSS!!!!" Meghan wrote in the caption. "For my 24th birthday, the love of my life @darylsabara made all of my dreams come true. He proposed to me under a tunnel of beautiful Christmas lights and surprised me with my family and friends. I'm still in shock. I've never been this happy! Thank you Daryl, my family and friends for making me feel like a real princess and thank you @ryan.trainor for this amazing video that I'm gonna watch over and over again."
Daryl shared the same video on his own Instagram page and wrote along with it, "Happy birthday to my soulmate. Thank you for changing my life forever and thank you for saying yes! You are the most beautiful fiance in the world. I love you @meghan_trainor."
Meghan and Daryl were introduced by mutual friend Chloe Moretz. "I asked every person I met since day one, 'Find me a boyfriend!' Like, especially new friends too. Chloe Grace Moretz is a friend of mine, and day one of meeting her, I was like, 'You know anybody that I could date? Or love? Whatever,' " Meghan told Chelsea Handler on her show last fall. "And she's like, 'I know the nicest guy in the world, Daryl, and you should meet him.' I was like, 'Daryl? Okay.' "
The couple began dating in July last year and made their relationship public in October of the same year. Speaking of how Daryl made her feel, Meghan told Cosmopolitan in its May issue, "I never really felt sexy with guys before. No one expressed how they liked my body out loud in the bedroom until I met Daryl. He is obsessed with it - every inch. And that has improved my confidence more than even '[All About That] Bass' did. He's a champion, so we're in heaven."
