In a now-deleted tweet, the OVO rapper said that he's a fan of Nicki after being blasted by the Young Money queen for 'liking' fans' tweets that suggested he was penning 'Regret in Your Tears'.

AceShowbiz - In response to Remy Ma's diss tracks, Nicki Minaj released three brand new tracks last week including "Regret in Your Tears", which apparently finds the 34-year-old femcee talking about her past relationship with Meek Mill. Some Twitter users began speculating that PARTYNEXTDOOR was the man who wrote the song.

PND responded to the speculations in a now-deleted tweet. "I'm a fan of Nicki Minaj. We have a song together. I hope she's as cool as I've always imagined," so he tweeted hours after being blasted by the "Anaconda" hitmaker for "liking" fans' tweets that suggested he had a hand in writing the melodic song.

Previously, Nicki hopped on Twitter to squash the rumors. "Party Next Door had NOTHING to do w/ #RegretInYourTears," so she wrote. "Ni**a aint never heard that song a day in his life. Bless y'all heart." She later added, "Not sure why he was 'liking' tweets. Maybe it was just 'funny' to him. Maybe he was...'hacked.' Lol. Either way. - #DisTewMuch FOH."

The Young Money queen also posted on Instagram a now-deleted photo that was questioning the speculations. "It's funny how the song was 'trash' but now since y'all think PartyNextDoor wrote it, it's [fire]? It's crazy how much people hate her and can never give her credit," the photo read.

According to the writing credits on Apple Music, "Regret in Your Tears" was co-written by Onika Miraj and Brittany Hazzard, who are better known by their stage names Nicki Minaj and Starrah. Starrah has co-written some singles like Rihanna's "Needed Me", Drake's "Fake Love" as well as Young Thug and Travis Scott (II)'s "Pick Up the Phone".
