The network has handed out new season orders to 15 shows, including 'How to Get Away with Murder', 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.', 'Quantico' and 'Black-ish'.

ABC has begun arranging its programming schedule for the 2016-17 season by handing out renewals for 15 series. They include "Once Upon a Time", "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.", "The Goldbergs", "Quantico", "Fresh Off the Boat" "The Bachelor", "Dancing with the Stars", "America's Funniest Home Videos" and "Shark Tank".
Shondaland's "TGIT" dramas, "Grey's Anatomy", "Scandal" and "How to Get Away with Murder", are included in the renewal scorecard as well. Meanwhile, ABC's Wednesday night comedy block remain intact with new season orders for "The Middle", "Black-ish" and "Modern Family".
"We're very proud of our strong roster of performers, and we're excited about what they will bring us creatively next season," said Channing Dungey, ABC's president of entertainment, in a statement on Thursday.

"The Muppets", "Marvel's Agent Carter", "Castle", "Nashville", "Dr. Ken", "Last Man Standing", "Galavant" and critically acclaimed anthology series "American Crime" haven't received pickups and remain on the bubble. Meanwhile, the future of freshman series "Wicked City" and "Blood and Oil" looks bleak after their episode orders were trimmed early in their first runs.
