AceShowbiz - Rihanna and Justin Timberlake are among musicians who score multiple nominations at the first annual iHeartRadio Awards. The Bajan singer is the biggest nominee as she bags seven nods in categories including Artist of the Year and Best Fan Army.

Her collaboration with Eminem, "The Monster", is nominated for Song of the Year and Best Collaboration awards. The same two categories also include the 25-year-old star's hit single with Mikky Ekko, "Stay".

Meanwhile, Timberlake nabs five nominations in four different categories including Artist of the Year and Song of the Year for "Mirrors". He's also nominated twice in the Best Collaboration category for his own single "Suit & Tie" and Jay-Z's hit "Holy Grail".

Behind Timberlake is Imagine Dragons, who's also up for Artist of the Year and Song of the Year for their "Radioactive". The Las Vegas-based rock band is also set to compete against country duo Florida Georgia Line, Swedish duo Icona Pop, Kiwi singer Lorde, rap duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and newcomer Passenger in Best New Artist category.

Other nominees include Drake (Song of the Year, Hip-Hop/R&B Song of the Year for "Hold on We're Going Home"), Taylor Swift (Best Fan Army and Country Song of the Year for Tim McGraw's "Highway Don't Care") and Avicii (EDM Song of the Year, Best Lyrics for "Wake Me Up").

Nominees of iHeartRadio Awards were based on results from the newly introduced iHeartRadioChart, which compiles airplay-based listener feedback and performance data, digital streaming data from the iHeartRadio platform and sales, social video data and tags from Big Champagne and Shazam. Winners will be revealed at the ceremony that's set to air May 1 on NBC from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
