True Blood Episode 4.10 Burning Down the House

Bill manages to get out of Eric's kung-fu grip and shoots all the zombie vamps (including Northman) trying to make him really dead. Meanwhile Sookie is standing around helpless screaming first for Bill to stop shooting, and then for Eric to cease and desist his staking of Bill. She decides to remedy the situation but firing her fairy powers at Eric who gets blasted full force and then it's (cue the music) memories time as his entire mental history rushes back. Sookie pretty much gulps as Eric looks at like her likes she's sexual prey again.

Back at Bill's, Eric tells an understandably concerned Sookie that he remembers everything and still loves her. The gentle Eric still resides within, which Sookie believes. But she admits that she still loves Bill too, perhaps because she's had both of their blood or just her fairy chemistry in general. Eric doesn't cotton to sharing very well, trying to assert his claim of sole possession, but Sookie asserts just as strongly that he gave himself to her too. Hmm, a standoff for now as Pam races to her maker with relief. However she's hurt Eric never summoned her himself, and gives Sookie the shank eye for being the distraction why.

In Alcide's truck, Tommy is shifting and spurting blood violently. Acknowledging that he's dying, Tommy asks to be taken to Merlotte's. Once there, Sam moves to get his brother help but Alcide wisely intones, "He's got a right to choose his time." Sam then makes Tommy comfortable as his little brother wheezes out a final apology. I know this was supposed to be an emotional moment, but Tommy and the rest of Sam's natural family really never engendered any sympathy with their nasty, trailer park ways. Just because Tommy says he's sorry doesn't earn much emotional credit; just more of a good riddance. However, Sam disagrees and tells Alcide that Marcus is going to pay.

Terry decides to go intervention on Andy's V-addicted butt by dragging him to Fort Bellefleur. It's a tree fort out in the woods that was Terry's PTSD residence after his tour in Iraq and the place where the Bellefleur men work out their issues. With the aid of some target practice cans, some good old-fashioned airing of their respective childhood hurts and then some ugly punches, the two come to a meeting of the minds. Andy admits he's a junkie and incredibly ashamed of himself. Terry gives Andy forgiveness and then tells him to clean up and walk the miles-long trek home as his first step to recovery. It was nice to see Chris Bauer (Andy) and Todd Lowe (Terry) get a chance to shine, but they're goofy drama did feel like an unnecessary distraction from the other more fraught storylines.

Jesus approaches the store and hits a massive protection spell force field. Marnie comes out and accuses Jesus of abandoning her but he explains that he had family business in Mexico and wants to come back to help. She tasks him to prove his trust by making it through the spell barrier, which he does when his demon comes to the surface. Inside, Marnie separates to talk to Jesus and admits she is the ringleader, which makes him blanch ten shades of white.

In another room, Holly and Tara decide to do an incantation to get the hell out of dodge. Their cumulative rage creates a successful breach of Marnie's protection spell and the two, along with Jesus, run like hell towards Sookie and friends. Just as they get to the outer ring, Marnie kicks the spell up a notch and zaps everyone but Jason back into her compound.

As night falls, Bill, Eric, Jessica and Pam suit up and arrive at the Moon Goddess to bomb Antonia/Marnie back to Inquisition times. They have a rocket launcher and walk the most bad-ass, slow-mo power shot of a vampire pack since back in the days of Angel.
