Mike & Molly Episode 2.19 Molly Can't Lie

Mike and Molly are going to meet the priest at the Church where they're getting married. Peggy's nervous because he's old and crotchety and she thinks Molly's going to say the wrong thing. It turns out, it's a new, younger, more liberal priest that Molly bonds with. During their conversation, Molly opens up and says while she is Catholic, she's not sure they they're going to raise their kids in the Church. Then they find out they can't have their wedding in the Church. Needless to say, Peggy is apoplectic, but Mike is also furious. He's mad that Molly can't just keep her mouth shut and go along to get along. He ends up spending the night at Peggy’s. But, when Peggy starts criticizing Molly and telling Mike he has to learn to stand up to her, Mike starts defending Molly, ultimately standing up to his mother. Then he goest to spend the night at Carl's. Nana talks to Mike and tells him that it's because Molly is the way she is that Mike loves her so much More...and if they still need a venue, they should try her church. She said you don't have to be a Baptist to be married there, you just need a check that clears. They now have their new venue.
