Allison dreams that her brother, Michael, tries to kill himself, but when she calls him the next day, he's chipper and travelling for business to Phoenix. She discovers he's been getting motivational help from a dead success author, Carson, in return, he "uses" Michael's body to finish his next book. Unfortunately, Carson is also using his body to bump heart transplant patients down the list, so his wife will be moved up. Bridgette dreams that Devalos' campaign manager has a shady past, so Devalos fires her and let's his opponent know he's not interested in a mud slinging campaign.
