Allison dreams about a girl trapped in a burning building. She comes to believe that a Fire Captain is a contract killer. He uses his knowledge of fire to make deaths look like accidents. The girl in Allison's dream was his daughter and he killed her to hide his DNA. Devalos is asked to run for Mayor, but a family friend also in the running, Benito, has dirt on him, stopping him from accepting the offer right away. Lily reminds Devalos that she has dirt on Benito, prompting Devalos to run and warn Benito. Allison fixates on the young ADA's being interviewed and worries she missed her chance at her dream career as a lawyer. She decides to go back to law school.
