Michael and Rita struggle to deal with a fading teen pop idol who shows up at Holt Neuro with unusual symptoms and a bad attitude. At first, it seems as though their patient may be masking a substance abuse problem at the root of her disease, but as more and more tests come back negative, Michael finds himself at a loss to explain her illness. At the clinica, a young girl comes in experiencing many of the same symptoms as the pop star nausea, achiness, dizzy spells, fatigue, and more. The similarities end, however, when the girl claims to be having regular conversations with the ghost of her grandmother. As Anton works through the aftermath of the shooting, he finds himself in a very dark place and becomes convinced that his left arm belongs to someone else.
