While visiting a local art gallery, Michael notices one of the artists exhibiting unusual manic symptoms. An MRI reveals that he has a brain tumor pressing on the part of his mind responsible for artistic talent. With surgery, the artist is likely to make a full recovery…but removing the tumor would likely rob him of his creative skills. At the clinica, a teenage girl gives birth and then immediately fees the scene. Kate, Zeke, and Christina work to find a relative of the baby in order to keep in out of the foster care system when the girl comes back in – something went wrong during the pregnancy, and she’s bleeding internally.
