AceShowbiz - American shows including "Lost", "Dexter" and "Mad Men" look set to dominate the upcoming Monte-Carlo Television Festival after scoring a clutch of nominations for the event's Golden Nymph Awards. The U.S. programs are among the frontrunners in the international competition, which features entries from countries all over the world, including Australia, Canada, Russia, South Africa and Spain.
Mystery show "Lost", starring Matthew Fox and Josh Holloway, is nominated in the Best TV Drama category alongside "Dexter" and "Mad Men", as well as Britain's "Downton Abbey", Ireland's "The Tudors" and Canadian cop drama "Rookie Blue". "Glee", "30 Rock" and "Modern Family" will compete in the Best Comedy series category with the U.K.'s "Mrs Brown's Boys".
The festival runs in Monte Carlo from June 6-10 and the winners will be announced on June 10.
