AceShowbiz - Moby has revealed that he will donate all the profits from his performances at Coachella 2026 to several animal rights organizations.
Announced via social media on Thursday, April 16, the acclaimed producer shared that his primary mission in life is to serve as an animal rights activist. He expressed hope that the revenue and exposure from his Coachella shows will help raise awareness and provide financial support to groups championing animal rights.
Moby first performed on Friday, April 10, during the festival’s opening weekend, delivering a highly praised set in the Mojave Tent. One highlight included a collaboration with vocalist Jacob Lusk on the 2000 hit “Natural Blues,” a moment fans could watch in clips shared from the event.
The artist is scheduled to return to the Mojave Tent on Friday, April 17, for the festival’s second weekend. For those unable to attend in person, the performance will also be streamed globally through the Coachella YouTube livestream.
The earnings from these performances will be donated to four distinct animal rights organizations: Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, Humane League, Mercy for Animals, and Direct Action Everywhere. Moby explained that he chose these groups because each engages in unique and impactful work within the animal rights movement. He acknowledged there are many admirable organizations, but decided to focus on these four for the time being.
Known for his longstanding advocacy, Moby emphasized his belief that “every sentient being is entitled to live their life according to their will,” a principle he shared in his social media post accompanying the announcement.
By linking his musical platform with activism, Moby aims to leverage his festival presence to benefit animal welfare causes, underscoring his commitment to using his influence for meaningful social impact.
