- April 6, 2026
AceShowbiz - BTS's ARIRANG has secured the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart for a second straight week, dated April 11, 2026. The album earned 187,000 equivalent album units in the United States during the tracking week ending April 2, according to Luminate.
This marks a 71% decline from its debut week, when ARIRANG amassed 641,000 equivalent album units — the largest opening week sales of 2026 so far. With its second week at the summit, ARIRANG now stands as BTS' longest-running No. 1 album, surpassing their other six chart-topping releases that each remained at the top for only one week.
The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums in the U.S. each week based on multi-metric consumption, measured in equivalent album units. These units combine album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA), and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Specifically, one unit equals one album sale, 10 individual track sales from an album, or 2,500 ad-supported or 1,000 paid on-demand streams of official audio and video content from the album's songs. The full April 11, 2026, chart will be available on Billboard's website on April 7, 2026.
Of the 187,000 total units earned by ARIRANG in its second week, album sales accounted for 114,000 units, down 79% from its debut. The album retains the No. 1 position on the Top Album Sales chart for a second week. Streaming equivalent albums made up 65,000 units, reflecting 68.49 million on-demand official streams of the album’s tracks, though this caused a fall from No. 1 to No. 3 on the Top Streaming Albums chart. TEA units totaled 8,000, down 49% from the previous week.
Also debuting in the Billboard 200 top 10 are albums from Ye (formerly Kanye West), Melanie Martinez, and Yeat. Ye scores his 14th top 10 album with BULLY entering at No. 2 with 152,000 equivalent album units earned during the same tracking period. This includes 96,000 SEA units — equating to 98.43 million on-demand streams — which places BULLY at No. 1 on Top Streaming Albums. Album sales contributed 56,000 units, ranking it No. 3 on Top Album Sales, with the remainder from TEA units.
BULLY was released physically on March 27, 2026, across CD, vinyl, and cassette formats, and digitally for download and streaming on March 28. Coinciding with the digital release, Ye launched the music video for the track “FATHER,” featuring Travis Scott and directed by Bianca Censori.
During the album’s release week, Ye held his first major U.S. concert in nearly five years, performing at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, on April 1. A second show at the same venue occurred on April 3, just after the end of the first chart tracking week for BULLY. The album’s strong opening sales were supported by multiple vinyl color variants, deluxe boxed sets including branded merchandise and a CD, as well as signed vinyl and CD editions.
Melanie Martinez earns her fourth top 10 Billboard 200 album as HADES debuts at No. 3 with 84,000 equivalent album units. Album sales made up 63,000 units, securing the No. 2 spot on Top Album Sales. Streaming contributed 21,000 SEA units, totaling 22.85 million on-demand streams, which placed the album at No. 28 on Top Streaming Albums. TEA units were negligible.
Martinez previously reached the top 10 with PORTALS (No. 2 in 2023), K-12 (No. 3, 2019), and Cry Baby (No. 6, 2015). The HADES release was enhanced by multiple vinyl and CD variants, deluxe boxed sets with branded merch and physical albums, plus signed editions, all boosting first-week sales.
Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem slips from No. 3 to No. 4 on the Billboard 200 with 76,000 equivalent album units, a decline of less than 1%. Meanwhile, Yeat collects his seventh top 10 album as ADL debuts at No. 5, earning 57,000 equivalent album units. Of this total, album sales accounted for 26,000 units (No. 4 on Top Album Sales), and SEA units made up 31,000 units, equaling 32.53 million on-demand streams, placing the album at No. 12 on Top Streaming Albums. TEA units were minimal.
ADL’s opening sales benefited from multiple vinyl and CD variants, deluxe boxed sets with merch and physical copies, and signed editions. Other chart movements in the top 10 include Luke Combs’ The Way I Am, which fell from No. 2 to No. 6 in its second week with 55,000 units (down 45%), and Olivia Dean’s The Art of Loving climbing from No. 7 to No. 7 with 54,000 units, a slight increase of 1%.
The remainder of the top 10 features former No. 1 albums: Don Toliver’s OCTANE dropped from No. 5 to No. 8 with 53,000 units (down 3%), Bad Bunny’s DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS slid from No. 7 to No. 9 with 50,000 units (down 7%), and Harry Styles’ Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally. fell from No. 4 to No. 10 with 48,000 units (down 25%).
