AceShowbiz - Nearly a year after achieving its first No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart, Tame Impala is back on top, leading the rankings dated February 7 with their latest single, “Dracula.”
The track follows a brief reign of “Neverender,” a collaboration with Justice that topped the chart for one week last March. This marks the second consecutive chart leader for Tame Impala, following over a decade of appearances on the Alternative Airplay chart, which began with the hit “Elephant” peaking at No. 8 in 2013, and “Lost in Yesterday” reaching the top five in 2020.
In addition to its success on Alternative Airplay, “Dracula” has climbed to a new peak of No. 2 on the Adult Alternative Airplay chart. This is Tame Impala’s highest ranking since “Is It True?” led the chart for three weeks back in 2020. On the all-rock-format audience-based Rock & Alternative Airplay chart, “Dracula” maintains its strong position at No. 3, garnering 3.9 million audience impressions for the week ending January 29, reflecting a 3% increase according to Luminate.
Furthermore, the single is making its way into pop radio, currently sitting at No. 19 on the Adult Pop Airplay chart and No. 28 on the Pop Airplay chart.
“Dracula” serves as the lead single from Deadbeat, the fifth studio album by Tame Impala. The song marked a significant milestone as it became the group's first entry on the multimetric Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 30 in November. It also reached No. 3 on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart and dominated the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart for five weeks. Most recently, it ranked at No. 2 on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart published on January 31, leveraging 3.5 million official U.S. streams.
Deadbeat debuted at No. 1 on multiple Billboard charts dated November 1, 2025, and has accumulated 272,000 equivalent album units thus far.
All Billboard charts dated February 7 will be updated on Billboard.com on Tuesday, February 3.
