- April 30, 2026
AceShowbiz - The collaboration between Tame Impala and JENNIE has achieved a major milestone as their track Dracula climbs to No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart dated May 2. This marks the first time either artist has topped this chart.
The song, released under Columbia Records, earned its top spot by accumulating 12 million official streams, 15.2 million radio airplay audience impressions, and 2,000 sales downloads in the U.S. during the tracking week of April 17-23, according to Luminate. While Dracula maintains its No. 2 position on both the Rock Streaming Songs and Alternative Streaming Songs charts, its sales helped secure a third week at No. 1 on both Rock Digital Song Sales and Alternative Digital Song Sales.
Before this success, Tame Impala’s best performance on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart was with "Breathe Deeper," which peaked at No. 2 in February 2020. For JENNIE, a member of BLACKPINK, this collaboration marks her first entry onto this chart.
Alongside topping the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart, Dracula also rose from No. 2 to claim the No. 1 spot on the individual Hot Rock Songs and Hot Alternative Songs charts. The track ends the 25 nonconsecutive-week reign of “Back to Friends” by sombr on all three charts.
Reflecting its cross-genre appeal, Dracula continues to dominate the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, holding the No. 1 position for the 16th nonconsecutive week.
Originally released as a solo single from Tame Impala’s Deadbeat album in September 2025, Dracula quickly became the act’s first entry on the Billboard Hot 100, debuting at No. 55 in October and soon breaking into the top 40. The remix featuring JENNIE, released in February 2026, gained viral popularity on TikTok and other social media platforms, propelling the song to new chart highs including No. 15 on the Hot 100 and No. 2 on the Billboard Global 200 last week.
This dynamic collaboration highlights the growing global influence of both Tame Impala and JENNIE across multiple music genres, demonstrating their ability to connect with diverse audiences through innovative sounds and viral momentum.
