'Gossip Girl' alum Penn Badgley and his wife Domino Kirke are thrilled to announce that they are expecting twins this summer, adding not one, but two new members to their growing family.

AceShowbiz - Penn Badgley's family is about to get a lot bigger! In a heartwarming Instagram post on February 28, his wife Domino Kirke revealed that they are expecting twins. "Babies #3 and #4 coming this Summer! Talk about a PLOT TWIST!" she captioned the post.
The couple shared a touching photobooth image featuring their son James kissing Kirke's baby bump. "Spontaneous twins are beyond magical," she added, calling the phenomenon a "plot twist." The announcement also referenced "monoditwins," identical twins who share a placenta but have individual sacs.
Penn Badgley, 38, and Domino Kirke, 41, married in 2017 and welcomed their first child during Covid-19 pandemic. The former "Gossip Girl" actor has often described fatherhood, even during a pandemic, as a joyful and enlightening experience. Their time in lockdown allowed them to bond deeply with their new son.
In addition to James, Kirke has an older son, Cassius, from a previous relationship. Kirke spoke fondly of Badgley's role as a stepfather, noting that he brings a sense of fun into Cassius's life. "He doesn't have to be 'dad' so he can have more fun with him. It's really nice," she said.
Badgley also reflected on his new fatherhood's intersection with his acting career. Known for playing the complex character Joe in Netflix's "You," Badgley found the paternal aspects of Joe contradictory to his own joyful experience.
"I was having such a light and joyful experience [and] still am, and Joe was, like, so petrified and so scared," he told Access Hollywood in 2021. "To be a good father or a parent, you need to really rise several orders above primal, but [Joe]'s at least primal, I guess."
With twins on the way, this summer promises to bring even more joy and cherished moments to Penn Badgley and his wife.
