AceShowbiz - Penn Badgley has left his fans shocked with his hair transformation. The former "Gossip Girl" star appeared to have left social media users disappointed with his new hairstyle that he debuted recently.
On Saturday, September 7, the 37-year-old Independent Spirit Award winner made an appearance at the 2024 U.S. Open, which took place in Flushing, New York. He was attending the Women's Final between Aryna Sabalenka and Jessica Pegula.
After arriving at the venue of the sports event, Penn took his time to take some photos in front of photographers. While striking some poses, he looked confident as he smiled a little and placed one of his hands inside the pocket of his pants.
Penn appeared happy with the result of his hair makeover. In a series of pictures that made their rounds online, it could be seen that he has traded his short black hair for a buzz cut. While maintaining the color of his hair, he let his beard and mustache grow a little.
During the match, Penn looked very focused on the game. While sitting down on his seat, he showed a stern facial expression and rested his chin on his hand. At one point, he appeared shocked, opening his mouth big as he was looking at the court.
For the tennis tournament, Penn opted to wear a casual ensemble. He sported a white tee underneath a short-sleeved beige shirt, which came with a V-neck design. He completed the look with a pair of dark-colored shorts.
The "You" star kept his accessories minimal by wearing only a bracelet and a black wrist watch. In addition, to match the undergarment, he put on a pair of high white socks and matching sneakers.
While Penn seemingly liked his fresh haircut, social media users appeared to have different opinions. Making use of X, formerly known as Twitter, one in particular wrote, "What is this? please remedy this immediately and grow ur hair back @PennBadgley."
