The 'Boy Meets World' reunion took an unexpected and intense turn when Danielle Fishel grilled her former TV co-star Maitland Ward about their strained relationship.

AceShowbiz - The February 23 episode of "Pod Meets World", a rewatch podcast hosted by former "Boy Meets World" stars Danielle Fishel, Will Friedle, and Rider Strong, became a battleground for unresolved tensions.

The special guest, Maitland Ward, who played Rachel McGuire in the later seasons of the hit '90s show, was asked by Fishel, "Do you hate us?" This heated question set the tone for a dramatic and revealing conversation.

Ward, who has transitioned into an adult film career, responded, "No, I do not hate you. I think you hate me, because you wouldn't speak to me on Girl Meets World and that was hurtful."

Referring to her visit to the set of the spinoff series that aired from 2014 to 2017, Ward added, "You had an attitude about it. There was some beef between us, and I didn't get it."

Fishel apologized but insisted she wasn't trying to diss Ward. She explained, "Let's put it this way, the memories we have of the fun set of Boy Meets World were not the memories of the fun set of Girl Meets World."

"I went into it expecting it to be, and it wasn't. It was a rather tumultuous place. I felt very ostracized. I felt very criticized. I felt a lot of different things being on that set. I am sorry that you thought I had something personally against you."

Fishel then recalled Ward's past disparaging comments about Fishel and her podcast co-hosts. "Are you trying to accuse me of using you or are you trying to accuse me of something?" Ward fired back before suggesting they were no better since they were "hating" on their co-star Ben Savage and the show creator Michael Jacobs as well.

Co-host Rider Strong defended the podcast for discussing their less positive experiences on the show, "If I'm talking about Michael yelling at me, that's my experience. I was yelled at. I watched him do things. I can describe that, that's the truth."

Fishel pointed out the fact that Ward also shared her own experiences in her tell-all book, "The same way you wrote about your experiences doesn't mean that they're negative. They're just experiences. So you don't listen to the podcast regularly, but your overall opinion of it is that we are negative about Michael and Ben and the show."

Ward, however, wasn't backing down. "Let's be honest about this. You're trying to go at me now to get the ratings going because you know people will be interested. I just want to remember the good times," Ward said.

Fishel shut down this theory, claiming she had asked for Ward's number to talk to her privately but Ward wanted to "just save it for the podcast" to "rock the stats."

She further defended herself for confronting Ward, "She thought it was disingenuous for me to reach out to her. I think wanting to do it for stats is disingenuous. And the minute somebody says, 'No, I don't want to talk to you privately, let's save it for a podcast,' I'm fine to save it for the podcast. We did it. I just did it."

Despite their tense reunion, Fishel insisted she didn't "hate" Ward and would "gladly have her back" on the podcast.
