AceShowbiz - Carolina Sofia, 29, is not backing down after her commitment to Grant Ellis on this season of "The Bachelor" was questioned. Shortly after the latest episode aired, she took to Instagram to address the issue.
"God forbid you're not sure about a man you've been on one date with,” she captioned a clip from the show, highlighting the unrealistic expectations placed on the contestants.
To further defend herself, Carolina also shared supportive posts from viewers who understood her situation. One viewer remarked, "Why are the other girls acting like it's crazy that Carolina isn't head over heels for Grant on week 4?"
Another chimed in, saying, "Wait, why are we shocked that the entire day becomes about Carolina when all of the girls have put so much energy into disliking her, talking about her and starting drama with her?"
As the season progresses and emotions intensify, Carolina's frustration over wanting more one-on-one time with Grant has become a focal point. At one point, she quipped, "If I'm lucky he'll kiss someone in front of me," highlighting her apprehension about having a group date with other contestants.
When Grant learned what happened, he said in a confessional that Carolina was being "so judgmental" and "not mature." He later confronted Carolina, telling her that she should bring up the issue directly with him instead of discussing it with the other women.
This was not the only drama involving Carolina - she's also embroiled in a feud with another contestant Rose Sombke, which led to the latter quitting the show.
"The Bachelor" continues to air on ABC Mondays at 8 p.m. ET, with fans eagerly anticipating each new episode's developments.
