'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' is on an indefinite hiatus, and Dolores Catania is airing her grievances with her co-stars for disrupting the beloved series. Dive into what led to the break and the uncertain future of the cast.

AceShowbiz - Dolores Catania was frustrated with her "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" co-stars following a tumultuous season that led to a significant shakeup. The long-running Bravo series has been put on an indefinite pause, with a major cast overhaul rumored for its next season.

In a revealing interview with People, Dolores, 53, shared her disappointment regarding the series' current state. "We didn't film last season, so we're not coming back… we're not going to be airing in January or February," she told the magazine.

Dolores expressed her anger, saying, "Of course, I'd look forward to seeing my cast come back on the screen or even come back to film, but they made a mess. I'm a little mad that everybody couldn't get it together. I really am."

Season 14 included stars such as Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Jackie Goldschneider, Jenn Fessler, Rachel Fuda, and Danielle Cabral. The season finale was marked by intense confrontations, leading the producers to skip the traditional reunion and split the ladies into two groups for the post-season discussions.

"On my way to that finale, I spoke to a therapist and asked her for some tips on going in and speaking to the women," Dolores recounted. "No matter what I did on and off camera, nothing helped. You could see I was defeated."

Dolores pointed out how "RHONJ" has diverged from other franchises like Salt Lake City and Beverly Hills. "We f***ing lost something along the way," she said. "I'm looking at Salt Lake City and I'm looking at Beverly Hills and they fight, but they don't go for the jugular. They're not hitting below the belt. They agree to disagree and move on."

There have been speculations about a complete cast replacement, an idea Andy Cohen hinted at back in July. However, Dolores does not favor this approach. "I feel like we're an ensemble, and I can't see anyone else but the people that I was with," she said. "We've traveled the world together, we've cried together, we fought together."

Despite the turmoil, Dolores remains optimistic about the current cast's return for season 15, for both the cast's and the fans' sake. "They've let us in their homes and we've been a part of their lives," she said affectionately. "I don't call them fans. I call them friends."

Dolores also believes that with time, the ladies can reconcile to continue the show's legacy. "I know I would. I think that given some time for things to cool down, maybe they would try to do that too. It's time to put egos aside," she urged. "This is what life is. It's about fighting and making up."
