AceShowbiz - Quarter Finals of "The Masked Singer" season 12 aired in the Wednesday, December 4 episode of the hit FOX series. The new outing, titled "Quarter Finals: Merging of the Masks", featured the final four, Strawberry Shortcake, Wasp, Goo and Buffalos, fighting for a spot in the Semi-Finals as one would be eliminated at the end of the night.

Kicking off the episode was Wasp. His clues revealed that he had a hard time finding true love. After living in the fast lane at first, he finally found true love.

For the night, Wasp opted to sing "Standing Next to You" by Jungkook. He's obviously a professional singer with his best friend and cousin called in for the phone call clue. Panelist Rita Ora guessed Mario. Ken Jeong named Usher, and Jenny McCarthy thought Wasp could be Maxwell. Robin Thicke, meanwhile, didn't share his guess.

Following it up was Goo. He admitted in his clues that he doesn't sing for a living. He chose to perform "Iris" by Goo Goo Dolls that night. The phone call clue was his fiance, who said, "You melt my heart…I haven’t been this proud of you since you got that call that changed your life forever." Robin guessed former L.A. Ram Aaron Donald. Jenny mentioned Kobie Turner, with Rita guessing John Cena.

Later, Strawberry Shortcake hit the stage to perform. Her clues revealed that she's been part of a packaged bunch and that she's never stood on her own. She shared that her friends and family are on other exciting adventures, adding that her loved ones are proud of her.

In the episode, Strawberry Shortcake chose to sing "Closer" by Tegan and Sara. Phone call clue was from her sister, who said, "I'm always with you. Me and your nephew are rooting for you." Ken thought Strawberry Shortcake could be Katy Perry. Jenny guessed Haylie Duff, while Robin named Danielle Haim from sister band Haim.

Concluding the night was Buffalos. They said in their clues that they're more than friends and had been on a long journey together. They claimed that they faced a problem when everything they did together was called off at one point, though they managed to overcome it.

The trio chose to belt out "You're Still the One" by Shania Twain. For the phone call clue, they got a call from Babyface who changed their lives after their collaboration. Robin guessed Temptations. Ken mentioned Tony! Tony! Tony!, while Rita thought the trio could be Blackstreet.

After the audience and panel voted, only two of the contestants would move on straight to the Semi-Finals as the other would have to battle it out once again in the Smackdown. Host Nick Cannon revealed that the Top 2 singers were Wasp and Buffalos, meaning that Goo and Strawberry Shortcake were sent to the Smackdown.

In the Smackdown, Goo belted out "Hold On, I'm Coming" by Sam and Dave. Meanwhile, Strawberry Shortcake sang "Scars to Your Beatiful" by Alessia Cara. Strawberry Shortcake won the Smackdown and took the final spot in the Semi-Finals.

Before Goo got unmasked, the panelists made their final guesses. Rita stuck with her previous guess, which was John Cena. Ken named Shaquille O'Neal. Robin guessed Aaron Donald, while Jenny continued with her guess of Kobie Turner. Jenny was correct because Goo was indeed Kobie Turner!
