AceShowbiz - Mandy Moore, the 40-year-old actress known for her roles in "This is Us" and "A Walk to Remember," recently shared an intimate glimpse into her life as a working mother on social media.
The actress is candid about her struggles to juggle home and work responsibilities with three young children: August "Gus," three, Oscar "Ozzie," two, and Louise "Lou," two months. She shares these children with her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, 39.
In a series of Instagram Stories late Friday night, November 22, Moore posted a photo of herself nursing her newborn while wearing her robe. "We're both under the weather and I had work today but this spot with her is the one I'm always trying to get back to," she captioned the image.
Moore expressed her joy in the simple moments with her baby, writing about "The sounds. The squish. Everything else melts away." However, she also acknowledged the challenges of returning to work as a nursing mother, sharing a photo of herself pumping breast milk in the bathroom.
The actress went on to share an adorable photo of Lou wrapped in a towel after taking a bath. Moore revealed that her infant "loves the water" but "hates getting out and being cold."
She also asked her fans for advice on how to prevent her toddler from waking up at 4:30 AM and staying awake. "I feel like I'm about to go crazy," Moore exclaimed, expressing her exhaustion. "This is not sustainable."
Despite the difficulties, Moore expressed gratitude for the support of other mothers who have reminded her that these challenges are "a phase." She added, "I'm ready for the next phase LOL."
Moore and Goldsmith recently celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary, but the musician is currently on tour with his band, Dawes. Moore expressed her appreciation for her husband being able to spend 24 hours with the family before hitting the road again.
