AceShowbiz - Mandy Moore's home in Altadena, California, has been miraculously spared from the devastating Eaton fire, but the actress and singer is sharing her profound grief for family and friends who have lost everything.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, January 8, Moore updated her followers on the status of her home. While the main structure remains standing, her husband Taylor Goldsmith's music studio, the garage, and back house have been destroyed.
"We were able to return to our street and witness the immense loss," Moore wrote. "Miraculously, the main part of our house is still standing. For now. It's not livable but mostly intact."
Moore expressed "survivor's guilt" as she revealed that every house on her street had been lost, including those belonging to her in-laws and her brother and sister-in-law, who are expecting their first child in six weeks.
Despite the tragedy, Moore remains committed to supporting her community. "We love this community and will do everything we can to help rebuild and support," she said.
The Eaton fire has impacted over 10,600 acres and has forced the evacuation of over 80,000 people. Other celebrities who have lost homes in the fires include Spencer Pratt, Heidi Montag, Billy Crystal, Anna Faris, Paris Hilton, and more.
"Our community is broken but we will be here to rebuild together," Moore wrote. "Sending love to all affected."
