AceShowbiz - The upcoming third season of the reality competition series "The Traitors" is set to premiere on January 9 on Peacock, and the newly released teaser trailer promises a thrilling season filled with deceit and suspense.
The teaser opens with host Alan Cumming reciting a line from Shakespeare's "Macbeth", "By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes."
It then intersperses quick introductions of the celebrity and reality star cast members with stunning visuals that hint at the season's upcoming drama. In "The Traitors," a group of contestants is divided into two teams: the Faithfuls and the Traitors. The Traitors' goal is to kill off the Faithfuls one by one while the Faithfuls must try to unmask the Traitors before they're all eliminated. The show has garnered critical acclaim, winning Best Competition Program and Best Reality Host at the 2023 Emmy Awards.
