AceShowbiz - More than a year after announcing their separation, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Kyle Richards and real estate mogul Mauricio Umansky still have no plans to file for divorce. They attribute this to their strong bond and focus on co-parenting their four daughters.
"We just haven't felt the rush to do that," Kyle stated exclusively to E! News. "We've been getting along and there was no pressure from either side."
Despite Umansky already moving on with Nikita Kahn, Richards dismisses advice from her co-stars to legally split, emphasizing the uniqueness of her situation. "Every marriage, every separation is different," she explained.
Despite their separation, Richards and Umansky remain close, with their daughters fully supportive of their parents' decision. "They very much want me to move on and be happy," Richards shared.
Richards and Umansky maintain an amicable relationship, co-parenting and seeking advice from each other. "We're the best of friends, we love each other, we want the best for each other," Richards told E! News. "We don't want the rest of our life to change. We're just okay the way things have been."
Their continued friendship and focus on family demonstrate that even after a separation, couples can redefine what it means to be "exes" and maintain a harmonious relationship for the sake of their loved ones.
