In Yang's sketch, part of season 50's premiere episode of the long-running NBC comedy show, the comedian depicted Charli as a 'brat' in a fake talk show.

AceShowbiz - During a recent appearance on "The Howard Stern Show", Charli XCX shared her thoughts on Bowen Yang's impersonation of her on "Saturday Night Live". Yang's sketch, part of season 50's premiere episode, depicted Charli as a "brat" in a fake talk show.

Despite the impression's seemingly unflattering nature, Charli was impressed by Yang's performance. "I love Bowen, and honestly, I think he did a great job," she said. "I was very impressed with the hair texture, actually. I thought it was a really good wig."

Charli and Yang, who are friends, hinted that they had prior knowledge of the sketch. "[Troye Sivan] and I, we had an inkling it was coming," Charli revealed.

In the sketch, Yang's Charli character explained the concept of "brat" through a game where items were designated as "brat" or "nat." The sketch also featured appearances from Sivan (played by Sarah Sherman) and guests played by Jean Smart, Chloe Fineman and Ego Nwodim.

Charli debuted as a musical guest on "SNL" in 2014 and returned in 2022. Fans are eagerly anticipating her potential return as a musical guest in Season 50.
