AceShowbiz - Prince Harry's visit to New York City was a whirlwind of work and play. Aside from his hilarious appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" he engaged in a series of events that furthered the work of his patronages and philanthropic initiatives.
Harry's visit began on Sunday, September 22, with a dinner focused on violence against children and its mental health impact, hosted by the World Health Organization. On Monday, he supported The Diana Award, The HALO Trust and African Parks. He joined award recipients from The Diana Award and shared his mother's legacy with them. At The HALO Trust event, he emphasized the importance of continuing his mother's work in demining efforts.
Harry also participated in a panel discussion on behalf of African Parks and expressed his passion for environmental tourism. At the Clinton Global Initiative, he highlighted the dangers of social media for children, sharing that his phone lock screen features a photo of his children Archie and Lilibet. He concluded his visit by celebrating the five-year anniversary of Travalyst, his environmental tourism initiative.
On Thursday, Harry surprised viewers by appearing on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon". Instead of an interview, he and host Jimmy Fallon embarked on a haunted maze called Jimmy's ToNightmares, which Fallon announced earlier this month. Harry's candid reactions to the scares were captured by a bodycam attached to his chest. Other guests in the episode include celebrities Cate Blanchett, Marcello Hernandez and Nick Griffin.
Harry's visit to New York City was not accompanied by his wife Meghan Markle. However, he shared a sweet FaceTime with Meghan and their children before attending an event. He also expressed his love for the country of Lesotho, where he has been connected for 20 years.
