Emily Gold, a talented dancer who recently showcased her skills on 'America's Got Talent', is confirmed to have passed away at the age of 17 after her body was found under a bridge.

AceShowbiz - Emily Gold, a senior at Los Osos High School and a member of its dance team, tragically ended her life on September 13. She was found under a bridge on the eastbound 210 Highway in Rancho Cucamonga just before midnight, by the California Highway Patrol.

Authorities confirmed her death as a suicide. Her sudden demise came just weeks after she and her dance troupe captivated audiences on "America's Got Talent", reaching the quarterfinals of the competition. Unfortunately, they were sent packing in August.

Recognized for her vibrant performances, Emily and her team earned a standing ovation from judge Simon Cowell, who praised their energy and camaraderie, despite their elimination. "It was absolutely brilliant," Cowell had remarked, adding that their performance epitomized what great schools should do - encourage talent and friendship.

Emily herself had shared the joy and dedication that came with performing on the AGT stage, emphasizing how balancing her academic and dance commitments was a challenge she embraced wholeheartedly.

The news of her death has left the Los Osos High School community in shock. A GoFundMe campaign launched to support her family has already raised a significant portion of its $50,000 target.

Fellow students, faculty, and friends have flooded social media with tributes, sharing memories and expressing their deep sorrow. Samantha Shaw, a friend, posted, "Let it be known that she now rests easy although there were many that loved Emily Gold and even looked up to her."

Emily was a key member of both the school's Varsity Dance Team and its Varsity cheer squad. The school's principal, Eric Cypher, conveyed his condolences, asking the community to keep Emily's loved ones in their thoughts and prayers. Her teammates expressed their grief and admiration in a collective statement, calling her a "leader, role model, friend, and sister" and promising that they will continue to strive in her honor.

In the midst of this tragedy, friends and family reflect on the joyous moments they shared with Emily. One supporter on the GoFundMe page recalled, "We remember all those long gymnastics days spent together. Those Vegas trips. She will be missed dearly. May she rest in peace and may you all find some comfort in the arms of each other."
