AceShowbiz - "America's Got Talent" is making a significant change for its upcoming 20th season. Heidi Klum, who has been a judge for 11 of the past 12 seasons, will not be returning. Instead, she will be replaced by Melanie Brown, who previously served as a judge alongside Klum from Seasons 8-13.

Joining returning judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, and Sofia Vergara, the Spice Girls singer will judge the new season of "AGT", which is set to premiere on May 27. Terry Crews will also return as host.

Auditions for the 20th season are currently underway, with opportunities for video submissions, online live auditions, and in-person auditions in Pasadena.

Klum's departure from AGT follows her announcement that she will return to "Project Runway", a show she previously hosted from 2004 to 2017. The reality competition will return for a new 10-episode season in 2025 on Disney's Freeform and streaming on Disney+ and Hulu.

Despite Klum's departure, "America's Got Talent" remains a summer staple, having been the most-watched broadcast alternative show for 19 consecutive years. In September, Richard Goodall was crowned the Season 19 winner.

Judge Simon Cowell was excited for the upcoming season, saying, "It's absolutely brilliant to announce our 20th season of AGT. Over the years, we've seen amazing Acts and met truly incredible people. It's true that two or three minutes can change your life."
