AceShowbiz - Kyle Richards, best known for her role on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills", shared insights into her friendship with Kesha (Ke$ha) during an Amazon Live stream with Nurse Jamie. The duo's unexpected bond started when Kesha began following Kyle on Instagram.
"She was following me on Instagram and then I followed her back," Kyle recounted. The online interactions soon led to an in-person meetup. "We messaged each other and we got together for dinner. She's so great. She's very talented. She is such a sweet person. So, we met like that," she explained.
Their friendship expanded beyond social media and dinner dates. This year, the pair attended high-profile events together, including the Elton John AIDS Foundation's Oscars Viewing Party, where they posed for pictures alongside Avril Lavigne. They also enjoyed a ski trip in Aspen, Colorado and even got matching tattoos at Kyle's Encino home.
Kyle also praised Kesha's musical prowess, particularly her collaboration with country singer Morgan Wade on the song "Walked on Water". Kyle described the track from Wade's album "Obsessed" as beautiful, echoing the sentiment of her daughter, Farrah Brittany, who expressed her admiration on Instagram with the caption, "Obsessed w this song. Congrats [Morgan and Kesha]."
The support between Kyle and Kesha is mutual. In July, when Kesha faced online body shaming, Kyle publicly defended her friend. "I do not understand that. It's 2024 and she's gorgeous," Kyle said during a conversation with TMZ. She added, "And she's even more beautiful on the inside. I don't know why people are still talking about women's bodies. It's 2024, they need to move on."
