AceShowbiz - Sydney Sweeney, who portrays Cassie Howard on HBO's acclaimed drama "Euphoria", is thrilled to begin filming the third season in January 2025. In an interview with People magazine, Sweeney shared her excitement about returning to the role that holds a special place in her heart.
"I'm very excited to jump back into Cassie," Sweeney said. "She is definitely one of the most special characters for me, and I love my 'Euphoria' family, so I look forward to it."
Sweeney expressed her hope that the new season will delve deeper into Cassie's complex and enigmatic personality. "I love crazy Cassie, so the crazier, the better for me," she told the magazine.
Despite her enthusiasm, Sweeney admitted that she is currently unaware of the plot details for season 3. "Honestly, I don't know anything about it," she said when asked for teasers.
Sweeney co-stars on "Euphoria" with Zendaya Coleman, Jacob Elordi, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow and Hunter Schafer. In the season 2 finale, Cassie's emotional outburst on stage during Lexi's play resulted in her being slapped by Maddy.
