Nancy Cartwright, the voice behind Bart Simpson and other iconic animated characters, reveals in a TikTok video that she has a family tie with the 'Please Please Please' hitmaker.

AceShowbiz - In a recent TikTok post, Nancy Cartwright, the Emmy Award-winning actress who voices Bart Simpson on "The Simpsons", confirmed a long-standing rumor. She revealed that Sabrina Carpenter is her niece.
"The rumors are true!" Cartwright captioned the video shared on Tuesday, July 9. "Sabrina Carpenter is my niece!"
In the video, Cartwright responds to a fan question about the familial connection. "Yeah, absolutely," she says. "Isn't that amazing? Maybe you've known me for a while, doing this little 10-year-old boy for 35 some years, and some of you guys for way less than that, and find out that I'm related to this superstar. She's pretty amazing."
Carpenter has previously expressed her admiration for her aunt. "By relation, I am also a legend," she joked in a 2021 interview with Capital FM. "No, absolutely not, not even close. But I will say that my whole life, that was the coolest thing in the world to me. The woman is a woman of many talents. She's not just Bart."
Carpenter also recalled that Cartwright would occasionally use her Bart Simpson voice to secure seating at restaurants when they were out together.
The revelation has surprised many of Carpenter's fans, who are still discovering her family connections. On TikTok, the video has garnered over 60,000 likes and 600 comments, with fans expressing their amazement.
In addition to Bart Simpson, Cartwright has voiced numerous other iconic animated characters, including Ralph Wiggum, Todd Flanders, Nelson Muntz, Maggie Simpson, Chuckie on "Rugrats", Rufus on "Kim Possible, and Mindy on "Animaniacs.
Carpenter, who has starred in "Girl Meets World" and voiced characters in Phineas and Ferb, is preparing to release her sixth album, "Short N' Sweet", on August 23.
