AceShowbiz - Kyle Richards has come to the aid of her friend Kesha, famously known as Ke$ha, after the singer was subjected to body-shaming trolls. In a new interview while returning from Aspen, Colorado, Richards expressed her shock and dismay over the criticism.
"I cannot understand that," Richards spoke to TMZ. "It's 2024, and she's gorgeous. And she's even more beautiful on the inside."
Richards also criticized people who continue to comment on women's bodies. "I don't like how people are still talking about women's bodies in this time," she stated.
Meanwhile, Kesha has taken to social media to address her critics. In a series of stunning bikini photos, she wrote, "I didn't think in 2024 people still body shamed but... I am so proud of my body. She's been through a lot."
Despite her resilience, Kesha acknowledged the negative impact of body shaming. She added, "To those who think you're shaming me, you're actually making me feel very powerful. So, to you, I hope you one day feel whole enough to not tear other women down."
Richards has been a vocal supporter of Kesha, commenting on her Instagram post, "So beautiful inside and out." The pair recently spent time together at the Coachella Music Festival, along with Kyle Richards' niece, Paris Hilton.
Richards' defense of Kesha highlights the importance of body positivity and the need to combat the objectification of women's bodies. Her words serve as a reminder that body shaming is unacceptable and should be met with condemnation.
