The 'Good Morning America' host says he's considering leaving his role on the small screen to focus more on family amid his daughter Isabella's brain tumor battle.

AceShowbiz - Michael Strahan has hinted at his potential retirement. In a new interview, the "Good Morning America" host said he's considering leaving his role on the small screen to focus more on family amid his daughter Isabella's brain tumor battle.

"You'd think I'm the athlete, the tough guy, the father in the family. It is not about any of that," the 52-year-old said on "In Depth with Graham Bensinger". He added, "It has really made me change my perspective on so many things."

Michael's retirement isn't imminent though. "I want a life where there's some freedom at some point," he noted. "Is it in two years, three years, five years, fifteen, twenty?"

The former professional football player then quipped, "I'll be off TV before a lot of people are sick of me being on TV."

Isabella's diagnosis in October 2023 revealed a large medulloblastoma, a malignant tumor in her cerebellum. Despite the challenging path ahead, Isabella remained determined, documenting her journey on YouTube and Instagram. She underwent six weeks of radiation, four rounds of chemotherapy, and three brain surgeries.

On June 16, Isabella finally completed her chemotherapy session. Surrounded by family and friends at the Duke Children's Hospital & Health Center in Durham, North Carolina, the 20-year-old cheered and received heartfelt applause as she marked the end of her arduous journey.

To celebrate the special milestone, Isabella's dad Michael wrote on Instagram, "You continue to fight with a smile on your face, strength, and determination." He then exclaimed, "I am one proud Dad!"
