AceShowbiz - "Bridgerton", Netflix's highly popular historical drama, is returning with Part 2 of Season 3 on June 13. After the release of the first four episodes in May, fans have been eagerly anticipating the arrival of the remaining installments.
On Monday, June 3, Netflix released the official trailer for "Bridgerton" season 3 Part 2. The two-minute trailer resumes the events after the explosive finale of Part 1. Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) and Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan), who have long been infatuated with each other, are now engaged to each other, much to the surprise of Eloise (Claudia Jessie) and Portia (Polly Walker).
However, their happiness is threatened by secrets and misunderstandings. Penelope, who has secretly been writing as Lady Whistledown, has yet to reveal her true identity to Colin. As her social status and influence grow, it becomes increasingly difficult for her to keep her true persona hidden.
Additionally, the trailer hints at a rift between Penelope and Eloise, who has become close with a new companion. Amidst the lavish balls, exquisite costumes, and returning cameos, drama is sure to unfold in the final episodes of the season.
The official synopsis for Bridgerton Season 3 states: "Penelope has finally given up on her crush on Colin after his disparaging words about her last season. She decides to find a husband who will allow her to maintain her double life as Lady Whistledown. However, Colin has returned from his travels with a new perspective and realizes his feelings for Penelope. As he mentors her on finding a husband, their bond deepens, forcing Colin to confront his true feelings."
The trailer also confirms the return of Jonathan Bailey, Simone Ashley, Golda Rosheuvel, Adjoa Andoh, Ruth Gemmell, Hannah Dodd and Jessica Madsen. The final four episodes of season 3 premiere on Netflix on June 13th.
