The Boss has hit another bump on the road as vocal problems and further medical consultations forced him to postpone several live shows with his E Street Band in Europe.

AceShowbiz - Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have been forced to reschedule multiple concerts amid their European tour, as the legendary singer grapples with "vocal issues." The news arrived shortly after the decision to delay Springsteen's concert in Marseilles, France, originally set for Saturday, May 25.
Further medical consultations have advised that "Bruce should not perform for the next ten days," requiring additional postponements.
According to statements from Springsteen's social media accounts, "With this in mind, additional postponements are required for Airport Letnany in Prague (originally scheduled for May 28) and San Siro Stadium in Milan (originally scheduled for June 1 and 3). New dates for these shows will be announced shortly. Those wishing a refund will be able to obtain it at their original point of purchase."
Despite these setbacks, Springsteen remains in high spirits. "Bruce is recuperating comfortably, and he and the E Street Band look forward to resuming their hugely successful European stadium tour on June 12 in Madrid at the magnificent Civitas Metropolitan," his team reassured fans.
Springsteen's health struggles aren't entirely new to this tour. Last September, his North American tour faced interruptions due to a peptic ulcer, which prompted the rescheduling of several shows.
While he managed to complete those dates earlier this year, he's recently been tackling voice problems exacerbated by playing an outdoor show in challenging weather conditions in Sunderland, UK. During his recent appearance at the Ivor Awards in London, he joked about these issues, blaming the "hellacious weather" for his vocal strain.
Since the tour's kickoff in February 2023, it has faced a series of challenges. Aside from Springsteen's vocal issues, the pandemic sidelined several band members early on, and the 2023 leg of the tour was postponed due to the singer's peptic ulcer disease. Nonetheless, the tour resumed and proceeded without further medical incidents until the recent postponements.
Despite his ongoing health challenges, Bruce Springsteen has shown commitment to delivering an exceptional experience for his fans. Reflecting on the current tour, Springsteen remarked on SiriusXM, "There will be some things from last year's tour that will hold over; some of my basic themes of mortality and life and those things, you know, I'm going to keep set…"
"(But) I think I'm gonna move around the other parts of the set a lot more, so there'll be a much wider song selection going on. So we're looking at it like it's a little bit of the old tour, but we're looking at it like a new tour."
As fans eagerly await the next chapter, all eyes are on June 12, when Bruce and the E Street Band are set to resume their tour at the Civitas Metropolitan in Madrid, Spain.
