She was detained in Amsterdam, allegedly for having marijuana in her possession, which led to a delay and eventual postponement of her Manchester show set for Saturday night, May 25.

Nicki updated her fans every step of the way, detailing her ordeal and the efforts to make it to her concert on time despite the challenges she faced. In a lengthy statement shared with her fans, Nicki conveyed her gratitude and apologized for the sudden change in schedule.

Initially planning to take the stage until 11:30 PM. to make up for the delay, she eventually couldn't perform at all because she had been held in a jail cell for 5-6 hours. "The building was willing to go past 11pm. So grateful to them for that," she said.

"So they succeeded at their plan to not let me get on that stage tonight," Minaj wrote about her arrest. "I succeeded @ getting to the root of it all by recording them & posting everything in real time. I have sooooooooo much video evidence. You wouldn't believe it if I told you."

Promising to take legal action, the "Super Bass" hitmaker assured her fans that a new date for the postponed show would be announced soon, with discussions pointing to a possible June or July performance. She also promised an added bonus for ticket holders to make up for the inconvenience.

Despite the setback, Nicki remains committed to continuing her tour. She confirmed that she would still perform at her second Manchester show on May 30 and her Birmingham show the following day.
