Sophia Strahan pens a sweet and supportive post on Instagram for her twin sister after 19-year-old Isabella tearfully opened up about her brain cancer diagnosis on TV.

AceShowbiz - Michael Strahan's daughter Sophia admits it wasn't easy to have learned of Isabella's brain cancer diagnosis. After the latter opened up about her health issue on TV, Sophia admits it has been "so much harder than we could have ever imagined" in the last few months.

Making use of her Instagram account, Sophia shared a sweet and supportive on Instagram praising her twin sister for being "strong" amid her cancer battle on Thursday, January 11. She wrote, "I'm so lucky to have the most amazing sister and best friend in the world."

"The last few months have been so much harder than we could have ever imagined, but it's made me realize just how strong you are," Sophia continued gushing over Isabella. "You inspire me and I'm so proud of you. Us forever." She included several snaps of her lying in a hospital bed next to her sibling.

Earlier that day, Isabella and her father Michael sat down with Robin Roberts (II) in the latest episode of "Good Morning America" to reveal her brain cancer diagnosis. She found out she has medulloblastoma, a common malignant tumor that arises in the part of the brain located by the base of the skull, in October 2023 and underwent emergency surgery later that month, just a day before she turned 19.

She is scheduled to start chemotherapy at Duke Children's Hospital + Health Center in Durham, North Carolina in February and insisted that she is "feeling good" after a course of radiotherapy. "That's my next step. I'm ready for it to start and be one day closer to being over," she shared. "I'm very excited for this whole process to wrap. But you just have to keep living every day, I think, through the whole thing."

Michael also keeps a positive attitude, saying that he still feels like the "luckiest man in the world" and is confident the teenager will "crush" the disease. The former football player, who shares Sophia and Isabella with his second wife Jean Muggli, added, "I literally think that, in a lot of ways, I'm the luckiest man in the world, because I've got an amazing daughter. I know she's going through it, but I know that we're never given more than we can handle and that she is going to crush this."
