AceShowbiz - Halle Bailey has subtly responded to ongoing speculation that she's pregnant with her first child. The singer/actress has expressed her gratitude to her "real supporters" as she feels being put "under a microscope" and judged over her body since rumors surfaced online that she may be having a bun in the oven.
After being featured in Variety's annual "Actors On Actors" feature, the 23-year-old took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, December 5 to share a picture of her posing with Rachel Zegler for the magazine. In the photo, she opted for a white strapless dress, contrasting "The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes" star's look in a black sheer top and short skirt.
In a follow-up Story, "The Little Mermaid (2023)" star penned to her fans, "I just also wanna say I'm so very grateful for my real supporters who are respectful of women's bodies and loving." She then admitted, "Being under a microscope is not easy but for the real ones who show unconditional love religiously I appreciate you. I feel so blessed and grateful."
Ever since it was reported in August that Halle appeared to be expecting her child with her rapper boyfriend DDG, social media users have been picking little details from her social media posts to prove the pregnancy speculation. Though she has mostly remained mum on the rumors, she did not hold back in scolding a fan who pointed out her "pregnancy nose" back in November.
"Listen, if I see one more person say something about my nose one more time, it's gonna be hell to pay," the "Angel" songstress said in a video posted through her Snapchat Story. "And you know why? 'Cause I am black. I love my nose. [What are you] concerned about my nose for? Leave me the hell alone!"
