The 'Little Mermaid' actress and the YouTube star, who recently reunited to celebrate their son's first birthday, are caught on camera having a sweet interaction despite their split.

AceShowbiz - Halle Bailey and DDG may have been quietly working on their relationship prior to their recent reunion. The singer/actress and the rapper have sparked reconciliation rumors after they reunited to celebrate their son Halo's first birthday.

On Wednesday, December 25, a new video from Halo's recent birthday celebration circulated online. In the clip, the exes were caught having a sweet interaction. Halle, who was carrying her son, was seen clapping her hands and gently touching DDG's chin to encourage him as he was seen sitting on the hood of a red Ferrari that he bought for his son.

The video immediately stirred the emotion of fans, who are still rooting for Halle and DDG. "They probably back together but don't want no one in their business," someone reacted to the clip. Another commented, "they never broke up, they just broke up with social media."

A third similarly suggested, "Them folks never broke up they just didn't want y'all in there business anymore!" A fourth added, "I don't think they ever broke up. I think they've learned to be private with their relationship." Echoing the sentiment, a fifth person wrote, "I don't think they broke up. Just wanted y'all to spot the mess."

Another fan weighed in, "She in love with him." A social media user supported the R&B artist and the hip-hop star, "Nah that chin touch…she still love him I hope they work out they are a beautiful family." Someone else claimed, "They so in love and I really hope they work it out through it all. those smiles are genuine love."

Halle and DDG celebrated their son's first birthday on Sunday, December 22. During the celebration, the YouTube star revealed the lavish gift that he bought for his son, a brand new Ferrari. He was quickly trolled for the choice of present for the toddler.

Clapping back at the critics, he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, "n***a mad cuz they son playin hot wheels and mines playin wit ferrari's & M's. Just work harder gang." However, seemingly proving the critics were right, DDG was seen taking a drive in Halo's new Ferrari on Tuesday.
