Gargoyle, Mantis and Medusa are given a second chance in the new episode of the hit FOX series as they take the stage once again for Battle of the Saved.

AceShowbiz - "The Masked Singer" brought back Gargoyle, Mantis and Medusa in the Wednesday, April 26 episode. The three contestants were given a second chance as they took the stage once again for Battle of the Saved.

Medusa was the first singer to perform that night. "I had to constantly prove myself to people that I was worthy of their time and energy," Medusa said in their clue package. Medusa then belted out "Mercy" by Shawn Mendes.

Judge Nicole Scherzinger commented, "Whenever you're on that stage, you don't take one second for granted. You never hold back." After Medusa presented the word "alias" as an additional clue, the judges, who also include Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy and Robin Thicke, named Susan Boyle, Kesha (Ke$ha) and Lorde for their guesses.

The next performer was Gargoyle. "I've got more experience being the underdog than anyone else. I've been in squads that always had to prove that they deserve to be in the national spotlight," he said in his clue package. The clue package also featured a gold bear.

Gargoyle hoped to win the battle by performing "DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love" by Usher featuring Pitbull. The judges thought Gargoyle could be NFL player DeSean Jackson, Michael B. Jordan or Anthony Mackie.

Rounding out the night was Mantis. He claimed in his clue package that "The Masked Singer" "is my daughter's favorite show," adding that he's not known as a singer. Mantis sang "You Really Got Me" by The Kinks.

"I've won awards for my independent spirit but the real reward is having more movie credits than Ken," the six-legged insect further shared, adding that his extra clue was "maverick." Among the guesses were Steve Buscemi, Brendan Fraser and Thomas Lennon.

Host Nick Cannon later announced the vote results. Unfortunately for Mantis, he was named as the first singer to be sent home. He was unmasked as actor Lou Diamond Phillips. "Donnie and I were literally talking about you last week," Jenny said, referring to her husband Donnie Wahlberg.

Gargoyle and Medusa were later sent to the Battle Royale, where they performed their spin on Fall Out Boy's "Centuries". Following the performances, the panel decided to keep Medusa in the competition.

It meant that Gargoyle had to reveal his identity. Underneath Gargoyle was Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen.
