While there's a speculation that he's arrested in connection to the Migos star's murder, the teen rapper has not been named a suspect who pulled the trigger during the November 1 shooting.

AceShowbiz - Lil Cam 5th a.k.a. Joshua Cameron has been arrested in connection to the murder of Takeoff. The teen rapper has been arrested since last week for having unlawfully had a handgun in his possession on the night of the Migos star's death in Houston.

Lil Cam was arrested and taken into custody by Houston's Harris County Sheriff's Office on November 22 for a felony charge of unlawful carry of a weapon. He has since been in custody at the Harris County jail. He is being held with no bond.

While there's a speculation that he's arrested in connection to the Migos star's murder, it should be noted that the teen rapper has not been named a suspect who pulled the trigger during the November 1 shooting. Despite being held on unrelated charges, he's reportedly being questioned by detectives about the Takeoff shooting.

Lil Cam, who is reportedly 16 years old, though some outlets mentioned his age as 22, is a part of J. Prince Jr.'s Mob Ties Records and allegedly works for them as a bodyguard. Across the Internet, there is speculation that the young man's higher-ups gave him orders to commit such crimes.

"This boy got orders to do whatever he did," one person speculated on the Lipstick Alley forum. "There's no way that Prince Jr. was letting a straight hoodlum, that didn't work for him, into a private party of his. They have to all go down."

The news of his arrest comes just days after an alleged death hoax mentioned that Lil Cam was shot and killed in Houston by an unidentified man on November 4.

The teen rapper was previously arrested on another felony charge in April, but was later released on bail. His resume of charges includes burglary, drug possession and robbery in recent years. Therefore, his latest arrest warrant reportedly violates the terms of his existing bond.
