The unemployed 29-year-old from Bountiful, Utah previously faced backlash over his racist comments on the CBS show, prompting fans to trend #KKKyle on Twitter.

AceShowbiz - "Big Brother" season 24 contestant Kyle Capener's journey on the show ended in the Thursday, September 1 episode of the show. The unemployed 29-year-old from Bountiful, Utah, who was nicknamed "KKKyle" on Twitter, was evicted despite trying to apologize to black houseguests Monte Taylor and Terrence Higgins.

After he apologized, the contestants had a constructive, come-to-Jesus discussion with Kyle saying that he's living a sheltered life and having an "unconscious bias." "I'm an imperfect person trying to get better and that's what I hope to do," Kyle tearfully said in the episode. "I understand where my game is at. I made a lot of mistakes in the last 50 days."

Following his eviction, Kyle told host Julie Chen that "it didn't click in my mind" that what he said about the Cookout would blow up the house and lead to his eviction. He added, "I realized how terrible that was and I should have realized it from the start. I apologize to everyone watching." Despite that, Kyle noted that he was grateful for this experience "as flawed as I am."

Prior to this, Kyle expressed concerns that the house's BIPOC players were forming alliance to beat the white contestants. In the Wednesday episode, he was seen telling his fellow white players, "I'm sorry but after the Cookout, uniting under one common cause which was race … that has to play into my thought process moving forward in the game."

It didn't sit well with viewers as they accused Kyle of being racist. Additionally, the fact that his troubling comments in the CBS show's 24-hour livestream were left out in the finished product further outraged people as they trended hashtags #StopProtectingKyle alongside #KKKKyle on Twitter.

"Wow!!! KKKyle now explicitly saying that he wants to target all of the racial/ethnic minorities in the house and his biggest fear is them uniting against him. Wants to align with Michael, Brittany, Alyssa and himself," one viewer tweeted. Criticizing the network, another person wrote, "Not surprised @CBSBigBrother is hiding Kyle and the silent majority's micro aggressions against the POC. Nobody cares about the POC experience because we are seen [as] less than."
