In a new interview, the 57-year-old former TV host also talks about her newly announced podcast titled 'The Wendy Experience', which is set to highlight her favorite artists, celebrities, food and fashion.

AceShowbiz - Many were disappointed at how "The Wendy Williams Show" concluded last month. In a new interview, host Wendy Williams echoed the sentiment, slamming the show over the not-so-grand finale which didn't involve her in any capacity.

When asked about the matter, the 57-year-old former TV host told The Post, "There was nothing I liked about the [the final episode of] 'Wendy Williams Show'." She went on to explain why she didn't make a swan song appearance during the mid-June finale. "[Debmar-Mercury] didn't ask me to do that, so I didn't," Wendy shared. "I sat in my apartment and I watched it. And [I was] like, 'Eek!' "

The cheeky host continued, "Debmar-Mercury, in my opinion, should have done it with [me], not these other people on 'The Wendy Williams Show'," seemingly referring to Sherri Shepherd, who guest-hosted the finale. The Hollywood Walk of Famer, however, added, "Except for Fat Joe. I love him. He's my favorite."

In the interview, Wendy also talked about her newly-announced podcast, "The Wendy Experience". Of the new project, Wendy shared, "If you're extremely famous like I am, [hosting a podcast] will make more money than being on 'The Wendy Williams Show'. What I want to do is podcast, and I want to have a restaurant."

She also discussed her love life, noting that she's looking for new love. "If I don't do anything else, including podcast, I would love to fall in love. I want to f**k," she said. "Excuse me, I'm gorgeous. Can I f**k?"

Wendy announced her new podcast on Wednesday, July 6 on a new Instagram account, @thewendyexperiencepodcast. She posted a short clip of her sitting on her iconic purple chair while seemingly working on something as a silver MacBook could be seen in front of her. "Doing A Show, Not a TV Show Sorry it is a WENDY EXPERIENCE! STAY TUNED! #wendy #experience #new #vibe #fabulous #begginings," she captioned her post.

The next day, Wendy gave more details about her new project. "When one door closes a LARGER one Opens! Last Day on SET! #stay #tuned #thewendyexperience #loading #nyc," she wrote alongside a photo of her looking happy while lying on a tiger-printed couch.

According to previous reports, the new podcast, which will feature star-studded guests, would highlight Wendy's favorite artists, celebrities, food and fashion.
