The TV personality, who is in talks with the Kardashians and a Trump family member about guest appearances, also boasts that her new project 'will make more money for me than doing the TV show.'

AceShowbiz - Wendy Williams is ready to move on from "The Wendy Williams Show". The 57-year-old television personality teased on Tuesday, June 28 that she's planning to launch her own podcast that will feature star-studded guests.

During a brief interview with TMZ, Wendy confirmed her plan on doing a podcast. She additionally boasted that her new project "will make more money for me than doing the TV show."

Further elaborating the project was Wendy's representative Well Selby. Speaking to the news outlet, he shared that the former radio DJ was no longer having interest in returning to television full-time.

Well explained that Wendy planned to create a podcast that would provide her fans with a true Wendy experience. It would highlight her favorite artists, celebrities, food and fashion. It was also said that it's still unclear if Wendy will release her podcast independently or in partnership with a single platform such as Apple or Spotify.

He added that Wendy has been in talks with some of her favorite music stars, including Snoop Dogg and Fat Joe about guest appearances. Wendy also has spoken to Kardashian family members and a Trump family member, though Well refused to give more details about it.

Both Snoop Dogg and Fat Joe had appeared as guests on Wendy's talk show several times over its 13-year run with the latter filling in as a co-host in an episode. Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and their mother Kris Jenner had also appeared on the show even though Wendy had criticized the famous clan over the years.

Former President Donald Trump and his daughter Ivanka Trump filmed a segment in 2013. Back in 2011, Ivanka also made an appearance on Wendy's show.

Well noted that there's no timetable set for the release of the podcast, but assured that it's currently in the works.

The news about Wendy's podcast plan arrived after "The Wendy Williams Show" was axed after running for 13 years. In the finale, which aired on June 17, guest-host Sherri Shepherd paid tribute to Wendy, who was not present.

"Most of all, we have to thank you, Wendy Williams. You have to say - there is nobody like Wendy Williams," she said. "From her days on the radio, to ruling daytime talk for 13 seasons, Wendy earned her title as the queen of all media."

She continued, "If you think about it, Wendy Williams changed daytime talk with her unique take on 'Hot Topics', her one-of-a-kind celebrity interviews, the signature 'As Wendy' segments and, of course y'all, her famous 'How you doin?'. And I wanna say, Miss Wendy you are an icon and you are loved by so many, so many."
