The former 'The Wendy Williams Show' host debuts a new podcast on social media after she teases that a podcast gig is currently in the works following the cancellation of her eponymous talk show.

AceShowbiz - Wendy Williams has thrilled her fans with a major update on her new project after her show "The Wendy Williams Show" was canceled. The TV star has debuted a new podcast show, titled "The Wendy Experience".

On Wednesday, July 6, the 57-year-old host launched a new Instagram account, @thewendyexperiencepodcast. That same day, she posted a short clip of her sitting on her iconic purple chair. She seemingly worked on something as a silver MacBook could be seen in front of her. "Doing A Show, Not a TV Show Sorry it is a WENDY EXPERIENCE! STAY TUNED! #wendy #experience #new #vibe #fabulous #begginings," she captioned her post.

Then on Thursday, July 7, Wendy shared more updates on her podcast project. Along with a photo of her looking happy while lying on a tiger-printed couch, the TV personality wrote, "When one door closes a LARGER one Opens! Last Day on SET! #stay #tuned #thewendyexperience #loading #nyc."

Wendy's posts have since been flooded with warm support from her fans. "Seeing that #smile is everything. Can't wait to hear what she's been up to and her new ventures . How you doin?!?!?" one person commented, referring to her iconic "how you doin'?" phrase. Another wrote, "Can't wait to tune in….they can't erase your legacy!" with a different person quipping, "Yasss from talk show queen to podcast queen!!!"

"Here for it!! You were apart of my daily routine for years!!! Wake up, prayers, coffee, and Wendy!!! [red heart emoji] I love me some you!!!" a third excited fan penned. A fourth added, "Wendy welcome back! You are an I replaceable legend. May God heal you and gives you the strength to break barriers on your new chapter like you've always done."

Someone else even confessed that he/she stopped watching "The Wendy Williams Show" as Wendy took an indefinite absence due to medical issues. "We can't wait to see you Wendy, I stop watching talk show when I heard you were not coming back…," admitted the said person.

The latest update on her podcast came after it's reported that her podcast will feature her iconic purple chair. "That was [Wendy's] and it signifies the old chapter closing as we start the new one," Wendy's manager Will Selby told The Sun late last month. "We are going to take it and that will be part of her new show."

At the time, Wendy also teased that she's been working on a podcast gig that will feature star-studded guests. She also boasted, "It will make more money for me than doing the TV show."

Wendy's podcast project came after "The Wendy Williams Show" was axed after running for 13 years. In the finale, which aired on June 17, guest-host Sherri Shepherd, who took over Wendy's show slot with her own show "Sherri", paid tribute to Wendy, who was not present.
