AceShowbiz - Katie Rost is apparently desperate. The reality star makes it known that she wants to be back to "The Real Housewives of Potomac" in her new Instagram post, in which she publicly apologized to series executive producer Andy Cohen.
"I would like to issue a public apology, for statements I made that weren't cool in the past to Andy Cohen," the 41-year-old star wrote on Wednesday, April 13 alongside a black-and-white photo from her modeling days. "And I do want a job."
Katie went on to say that she will not let herself lose her cool if she was given another chance. "And I swear I will totally behave,"she vowed. "I'm also sorry for my temper tantrums. I feel no thirst. I just want to work."
Concluding her post, she added, "And I'm hot and amazing and so I'm issuing this statement publicly."
Katie was recently spotted with the cast members. However, sources close to "RHOP" production told Page Six that there are no plans to bring Katie back as a Housewife or friend."
Katie was among the cast members in the first season of "RHOP" which premiered back in 2016. She was introduced as a socialite who helped organize extravagant galas for charities. Her full-time gig was reduced in the sophomore season and she was nowhere to be seen by the third season. Katie, however, made a brief comeback as a friend in season 4.
The reality TV star then blasted Andy and Bravo in a scathing Instagram post later in 2019. "I have been told I will not be asked to the reunion, I want to be there. Obviously I have a place there," she wrote at the time. "That's not right! You are going to have Michael Darby, aka Chester the Molester there and not me!!!! WTF Bravo! Not cool #rhop #somethingstinksindenmark." She was referring to Ashley Darby's husband Michael who was accused of groping a male cameraman during a filming in 2018.
