AceShowbiz - Robyn Dixon, a beloved member of "The Real Housewives of Potomac" (RHOP), has announced her departure from the franchise. The OG cast member revealed on her podcast that she was not invited back for Season 9.

"I will not be returning to season 9 of RHOP," Dixon said. "The network did not invite me back. I was fired."

Dixon's exit marks the latest shakeup within the cast. Candiace Dillard Bassett also announced her departure last week.

During her eight seasons on RHOP, Dixon faced controversy and turmoil, including whispers about her husband, Juan Dixon's, alleged infidelity. Despite these challenges, Dixon has always maintained her strength and composure.

"I believe I handled myself as true to myself as I could," she said. "I walked into the situation knowing that all eyes were going to be on me, and I was open to that."

Despite her departure, Dixon expressed gratitude for her time on RHOP. "I had a very long run on the show," she said. "I just really appreciate the time and the opportunity that I had."

Dixon's departure comes amid heightened scrutiny surrounding her husband's dismissal from his coaching position at Coppin State University. Juan Dixon was involved in a lawsuit alleging inappropriate behavior by an assistant coach, but both he and the university were later dismissed from the suit.

Despite the challenges, Dixon remains confident in her marriage. "We have an extremely strong relationship that will, you know, over the course of time will go through ups and downs," she said. "For us, it's about our family and preserving our family."
