After an unforgettable four-season journey, 'RHOP' star Mia Thornton is shifting her focus to new opportunities as she relocates from Maryland to Atlanta.

AceShowbiz - Mia Thornton is done with "The Real Housewives of Potomac". The 40-year-old star announced on April 21 that she and her family have decided to relocate to Atlanta, marking the end of her participation in the Bravo reality series.
Thornton conveyed her decision through an emotional Instagram post where she herself shared, "With every new season comes a new beginning and I have some news to share. My family and I have made the decision to relocate to Atlanta, and with that, I will not be returning to The Real Housewives of Potomac next season."
This decision to exit "RHOP" comes after a series of intense moments and personal growth throughout her time on the show, which she joined in its sixth season in 2021.
Thornton reflected on her journey, stating, "The past four seasons have been an unforgettable journey, one filled with growth, lessons, and so many incredible memories. I want to thank Truly Original, Bravo, NBCUniversal, and Andy Cohen for believing in me and giving me the space to share my story."
Her exit follows an emotionally charged ninth season, which concluded in March 2024. Thornton's tenure on the show was marked by significant personal challenges, including a public confrontation with co-star Gizelle Bryant, who criticized her parenting during the season 9 reunion.
The incident resulted in Thornton storming off the set, expressing her dismay over her family being targeted in such a manner.
Despite leaving the show, Thornton is optimistic about the future. "This next chapter is already full of exciting opportunities, and I can't wait to take you all along for the ride.
