Lady GaGa and Jared Leto score two of the three nods for 'House of Gucci', while the HBO drama and the sports comedy drama series lead the TV field with five each.

AceShowbiz - The race for the 28th Screen Actors Guild Awards has begun. Unveiled on Wednesday morning, January 12 via SAG's Instagram page, the nominations were read by Rosario Dawson and Vanessa Hudgens.
In movie field, Lady GaGa and Jared Leto have the chance to bring home top honors for their roles in "House of Gucci". The Patrizia Reggiani depicter is up for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role, while her co-star eyes a trophy for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role.
GaGa is up against Jessica Chastain ("The Eyes of Tammy Faye"), Olivia Colman ("The Lost Daughter"), Jennifer Hudson ("Respect") and Nicole Kidman ("Being the Ricardos") for the best actress title. Leto, meanwhile, is pitted against Ben Affleck ("The Tender Bar"), Bradley Cooper ("Licorice Pizza"), Troy Kotsur ("CODA") and Kodi Smit-McPhee ("The Power of the Dog").
"The Power of the Dog" bags two more nominations through Benedict Cumberbatch, who is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role, and Kirsten Dunst, who vies for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role title.
The best actor category also sees Javier Bardem ("Being the Ricardos"), Andrew Garfield ("Tick, Tick … Boom!"), Will Smith ("King Richard") and Denzel Washington ("The Tragedy of Macbeth") among the nominees.
In the cast ensemble category, "House of Gucci" is in contention for the prize along with "Belfast", "CODA", "Don't Look Up" and "King Richard". As for the stunt ensemble category, it sees a race between "Black Widow", "Dune", "The Matrix Resurrections", "No Time to Die" and "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings".
In TV field, "Succession" and "Ted Lasso" top the nominations with five each. The HBO drama sends three of its actors, Brian Cox, Kieran Culkin and Jeremy Strong, to the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series ring. They will fight for the prize against Billy Crudup ("The Morning Show") and Lee Jung-Jae ("Squid Game").
"Succession" lands another nom in Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for Sarah Snook. Other contenders in the category include "The Morning Show" stars Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, Jung Ho-yeon ("Squid Game") and Elisabeth Moss ("The Handmaid's Tale").
As for "Ted Lasso", it lands two nods in Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series through Jason Sudeikis' performance as the title character and Brett Goldstein's role as Roy Kent. The series' lead actress, Juno Temple, is up for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series along with her co-star Hannah Waddingham.
Both "Succession" and "Ted Lasso" also score a nod each in the acting ensemble category.
The winners will be announced at a show that will simulcast live on February 27 on TNT and TBS on at 8 P.M. ET / 5 P.M. PT.
